Free Webinars for Pre-Law Students

Michigan State University is offering free webinars designed for pre-law undergraduate students. Each webinar will feature 30-minutes of remarks delivered by a recognized expert(s) followed by a Q and A session in which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenter(s).

  • Career Options and Market Outlook for Attorneys, Tuesday, April 27, 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
  • Advice for the 2011 or 2012 Law School Applicant, Thursday, April 29 – 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.

For Summer I: POLI 250 - Introduction to Criminal Law

This new course, which can be used to satisfy an elective requirement in the political science and pre-law programs, will cover the basics of criminal law, including definitions of crimes, defenses to crimes, and limitations on criminal statutes.

Summer I:  May 10 - June 17; Tues/Wed/Thurs 1:30 - 4:00PM.  Registration is now open!

New Pre-Law Minor coming Fall 2010

The new pre-law minor has been approved and will be available to students at APU beginning Fall 2010.
The minor consists of 7 courses (21 units), 15 units of which must be unique to the minor.
